curriculum vitae:
I could readily compile a roster of artists and theorists whose practices have informed my own, an inventory of my wardrobe (6 sweaters, 1 suit, 20 pairs of underwear…), or a list of books I deemed important enough to keep the last time I moved (two copies of Caliban and the Witch outperformed an architectural guide to Astana). Any of these exercises pursued at substantive length might reveal insightful context of my life/work. In order to fulfill the specific demands of artistic professionalization, however, I submit here something of my “
course of life,” that is, an abbreviated list of institutions through which I’ve been extruded, accolades sought and unsought, and occasions on which the products of my labor have circulated in various “public” spheres.
